ECNP Patient Session

The 29th ECNP Congress will feature ECNP’s second patient session, this year hosted by the Expert Platform on Mental Health – Focus on Depression (EPD).

The session will address depression and its challenges from three different perspectives: from that of the patient, the carer and clinician. Also participating will be the European Federation of Associations of Families of People with Mental Illness (EUFAMI) and the Global Alliance of Mental Illness Advocacy Networks (GAMIAN).

The session will be on Saturday 17 September at 14.00-14.45, and is open to all congress attendees.

Brain Prize Masterclass

ECNP is pleased to announce that the Brain Prize Masterclass, launched this year, will be repeated next year.

A collaboration with the Brain Prize Foundation, the Masterclass brought together 20 outstanding junior scientists in Copenhagen for two days (10-12 April 2016) of intense exchange under the guidance of Trevor Robbins, UK, and Joseph Zohar, Israel.

Thanks to the success of the meeting, plans are now underway for a second meeting for 25 junior scientists next Spring, also in Copenhagen.
